میز و صندلی آئورا طراح : دانیال جرمنی

چشمان خود را ببندید و تصور کنید به جای مرمر سفید و گرانیت جذاب سیاه با گدازه های سرد زمخت و خشن آتشفشان هنرنمایی می‎کنید، این تصویر با مجموعه میزهای اورا اثر دانیل جرمنی جان می‌گیرد. جرمنی به جای استفاده از مواد بی‌روح مصنوعی، زیبایی اصیل و وحشی سنگ گدازه را در آغوش می‌کشد. نتیجه، مجموعه‌ای از مبلمان است که فراتر از کارکرد احساسات را نوازش می‎کند.

میز اورا، گویی تکه‌ای از قلب زمین است که تاریخی چندصد میلیون ساله با خود حمل می‎کند.  سطح آن، با بافتی ناهموار و داستانی از آتش و فوران، شما را به سفری در اعماق زمین می‌برد. انگشتان شما بر روی این بوم کهن رقصی ظریف را آغاز می‌کنند و زمزمه‌های زمینی را از میان این سطح ناهموار لمس می‌کنند. این میز، در تضاد آشکار با سطوح صافی و بی‌روح میزهای متداول، دعوتی به دنیای ناشناخته و دروازه‎ای به اصالتِ ذاتیست.

اما اورا فقط یک میز خشن نیست. در کنار این ساختار شکنیِ بی‌نظیر، ظرافت نیز خودنمایی می‌کند. جزئیات فلزی براق، مانند قطرات طلای ناب، بر روی این بوم سنگی نقش می‌بندند و رنگ و جلای گرم فلز، هارمونی دل‌انگیزی با خنکای سنگ ایجاد می‌کند. این درخشش نه‌تنها ظاهری باوقار به آن می‌بخشد، بلکه حس استحکام و ماندگاری را نیز به اثر می‌افزاید.

جرمنی در خلق این اثر، از وحشیگری ذاتی سنگ گدازه فرار نمی‌کند. اورا برای هر سلیقه‌ای مناسب نیست. برخی ممکن است ناهمواری و حضور جسورانه آن را در یک محیط خانگی غیرقابل تحمل بدانند. انتخاب این مجموعه نیازمند جسارت بالاییست، آمادگی برای پذیرفتن غیرمتعارف و زیبایی وحشی طبیعت.
